Clay Planet's T2 Stoneware is a warm iron stoneware clay. When reduced at Cone 10, it fires a very handsome mahogany brown with light brown & black specks. It speckles most glazes. Hand builds extremely well.
It is recommended to not overly reduce higher iron clay bodies. This can cause black coring, dunting or glaze shivering. Do not over body reduce, and it is recommended to run in oxidation the last 15 minutes or more of firing in gas kilns to reduce the chances of firing defects.

- Absorbtion at cone 10 - 3.5%
