CoBaSi Tom & Ethel Socks - Pattern designed by Nigel Pottle.
These socks are named in honor of the designer’s father and mother, and the slip stitch pattern used to knit them creates a design resembling the teeth on the bucksaw that his parents used to prepare wood for burning.
You can enjoy the warmth of these socks without having to saw your own wood, and they will look good in a myriad of color combinations. The heel’s unique short row construction uses no wraps, yet creates a foot-hugging heel with no gaps or holes.
- CoBaSi (Sock Weight) yarn requirements: Color A - 2 hanks, Color B - 1 hank. 3 hanks of CoBaSi makes 4 socks total.
- Cobasi makes lovel NON-wool, NON-acrylic socks with great stretch & memory
