*Cress U.S. Made kilns are in high demand, with current wait times of 7-10 Weeks depending on kiln model. All kilns are custom-built to order, however, Mondaes Perfect Packages are ordered frequently in order to shorten lead times.
The Cress E-Series electronic kilns feature the most advanced electronic control on the market. They provide 5 (rather than 3) preset easy-to-use firing speeds, plus available custom programming capability, for an almost infinitely flexible range of firing profiles.
“E” series kilns have 3-zone capable controls, but are initially connected up for one zone. This keeps maintenance to a minimum using one thermocouple instead of three. Temperature uniformity is superb by design and not brute force.
Cress is now the first to include heat reflective stands to greatly reduce the floor temperature when firing. We ONLY offer kilns from Cress with 3" brick walls standard, with no upgrade cost. 2.5" walled kilns lose heat, cost much more in electric bills over time, and do not heat as evenly. If you prefer to order a 2.5" brick kiln, please message us on the live-chat or orders@mondaes.com.
To avoid heat loss, we also suggest a single wall rather than sectional kiln unless moving the kiln frequently is required. Choose a sectional kiln version at the pull-down tab.
